Who We Are
The School District of Springfield R-12 was awarded a three year Safe Schools Healthy Students grant in 2003. A no-cost extension year was approved in 2006-07, and we have recently been approved for an additional no-cost extension year which will end on July 31, 2008.
Selected school districts across the country are using these grant funds to design and implement comprehensive educational, mental health, social service, law enforcement, and juvenile justice services for youth.
