The Nurse/Family Partnership has been funded by Safe Schools/Healthy Students.
The Nurse/Family Partnership helps low-income, first time mothers develop effective parenting skills and build healthier families. The program consists of intensive and comprehensive home visitation by nurses, beginning during pregnancy and continuing through the child’s second birthday. The focus is on healthy pregnancy, improving the health and development of mother and child, and learning family self-sufficiency.
