Community Partnership
Community Partnership and Safe Schools/Healthy Students has teamed to provide three programs for families:
- Families and Schools Together (FAST)
- Families That Care – Guiding Good Choices
- Strengthening Families Program
The goals of these programs include preventing substance abuse among teens by teaching parents effective family management and communication skills before their children enter adolescence, building respect for parents and bonds among family members and between family members and the school, and increasing resilience while reducing risk factors and increasing protective factors.
